The wine maker, Newald Marais has dedicated his life to the study of viticulture and the art of wine making.  He is a well-known and highly respected member of the winemaking fraternity in South Africa.

 He is also a local farmer and a shareholder of Lord's.

All these attributes combine to give him excellent credentials for implementing the continued high quality and success of Lord's  wines.
